Barzile.Amishiki is an Artist, Singer, and Teacher.

Barzile was born and raised in Ibaraki, Japan. As a child, Barzile has been and continues to be highly fascinated with fairy tales, arts and a variety of music involving natural and artificial sounds.

After Barzile graduated from Shion Junior college in 2000, she worked as a fluent English teacher for young children to help promote international awareness and communication between Japan and the world.

In 2002, Barzile formed the music band "Linda", in which she was the main vocalist.

Then in 2003, Barzile began volunteering for the city of Hitachinaka as a picture book storyteller.


In 2005, three years after forming her band Linda, Barzile released her first Album "LINDA", which was produced by Bubble Records.

During that same year, Barzile journeyed to Tanzania and attended Bagamoto Art College Chuo Cha Sanaa to learn cultural arts.. While studying a variety of arts in Africa, Barzile found her passion in Tinga Tinga and Batik paintings , which she had the honor to learn under the great art masters TT Michael Lehem and Bushrir Mruta.

As Barzile progressed her artistic skills so did her passion for Africa. The name Amishiki was given to Barzile by the Makuwa Tribe of Tanzania for her artistic efforts and successes.

Upon returning from Africa in 2007, Barzile sang and released "Marching Time", a CD soundtrack for an anime under the Tamala Project, which was released by Universal Music Records Japan.

Barzile has been actively participating in art exhibitions and teaching vernacular English to a number of children in Ibaraki.

After that she's got a chance to come back to Tanzania again because of improving her Art technique and having volunteer work since in February 2010 to this day.
